Seth Stephens-Davidowitz graduated from Stanford University with an Arts degree focused on Philosophy. Inspired by the book "Freakonomics", a collection of studies published by the economist Steven Levitt, Ph.D. by MIT, in partnership with journalist Stephen J. Dubner, Davidowitz went on to study economics at Harvard and earned his PhD in this field. Davidowitz is a former data scientist at Google. He specialized in using search data to tackle practical problems. He is also formerly a visiting lecturer at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Currently, he works for the New York Times, producing opinion editorial.
