He is also the founder and director of the Program on Behavioral Economics and Public Policy at Harvard Law School. He co-authored a behavioral economics tome, Nudge, with Richard Thaler, winner of the 2017 Nobel Prize in Economics. Reid Hastie is a professor at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and an expert in Decision-making Theory. He specializes in group decision-making psychology and created a publication titled Rational Choice in an Uncertain World: The Psychology of Judgment and Decision Making.
